Art Exhibit in Orbit - NASA Discovery Shuttle STS-133

Greetings

One of my art works is off into space with NASA Space shuttle program due to take off 3rd Feb 2011.

Meanwhile "Fluxface in Space" is a group exhibit arranged and curated by the Fluxmuseum (USA) based around the fact that NASA Space Shuttle program comes to an end after the last two flights in 2010-11.
It is an honor to participate with some very interesting art works as well.

My interest and perception of the universe and Space began in my youth days when I passionately studied physics and science subjects and almost blew up the lab. The areas around and above one's scope of vision and hearing have been very intriguing to say the least.

In visual terms Space has given me a headache and taken me awhile to grasp ways to tackle methodologies to convey messages of this nature. (To be gradually revealed).

The piece is an assemblage of drawings that hint at a main theme called "Ascensions on High" where walks through unknown paths, reveal new understandings about the subject of Sound and Light Travel, without having to fly anywhere. More like being thrust into depths of Spiritual travel So I wish NASA Discovery shuttle's crew a safe and successful flight.

The link below is for the exhibit book, my work can be found on page 6:

Down under in the thicket of the Bush, for man and wildlife it is a time of heaviness, slow pace movements, moans and groans through major escalating heat waves.
